'Every Penny Must Go Back To The Club': Gary Neville Slams Glazers For Accepting £11m Dividends Amid Transfer Struggles
Gary Neville has hit out at the Glazers for taking in the £11m dividends despite Man United’s struggles to complete summer transfers.
Replying to a Sky Sports’ report that Christian Eriksen is thinking about a move to either United or Brentford, Neville tweeted: “That’s why Dividends have to stop for a period.
“Every penny has to go back into the club until it becomes attractive again. The club has become a graveyard for players. Culturally for owners to take [money] out of a poorly performing business is demoralising!”
The Red Devils are reportedly negotiating multiple deals for new players, but have still not been able to find a full agreement for anyone.
All this while, their Premier League rivals are continuing to strengthen their squad ahead of the start of the pre-season campaign.
