Diego Carlos Thrilled About His Move To Aston Villa

Diego Carlos is fascinated about his move to  Aston Villa seeing he would be teaming up with some of his national teammates.

The centre-back, 29, has penned a four-year agreement at Villa Park after finishing a medical and agreeing to personal terms on his switch from Sevilla for an undisclosed fee.

Carlos arrives at Villa after three years with the Spanish club in which he made 136 appearances, won the Europa League in 2020 and experienced playing in the Champions League and a Super Cup final.

And now he can't wait to get started at Villa.

“I am very happy," he told VillaTV.

“I'm very happy, not only me but my family and my kids.

“It's something we were waiting for and we wanted to do this negotiation. Now that we're here, we are really happy."

He added: “We are looking forward to it.

“I'm a person who always looks for, and wants to achieve something more.

“Since I spoke to the club and my agent, we knew the objectives of the club

“We know where we want to get to and that's something that made me excited to come here."
