Darwin Nunez has signed with Liverpool on a 6-year-deal from Benfica.
He will be wearing the number 27 shirt during his first season at the club.
He wore the number 9 at his former club, Benfica, but it belongs to Roberto Firmino at Liverpool so the Uruguayan has taken 27.
He shared his admiration for Firmino in his first interview for the club, stating: “Klopp is going to help me hugely. I think players like Firmino and the experienced players are going to as well.
