Dani Alves Set To Become Oldest-Ever Player Called Up To Brazil World Cup Squad
Dani Alves is going to be called up to the Brazil squad for the FIFA World Cup 2022 despite being released by Barcelona, claims Esportes.
Brazil manager Tite is not willing to drop him from the squad knowing the value of his experience and leadership.
Even Neymar is eager to listen to Alves’ words and has a lot of respect for the 39-year-old.
Dani is, as a result, set to become the oldest player to ever get called up to a Brazil squad for a World Cup in their history.
The 39-year-old can also expect to get a few appearances under his belt in what will be his final World Cup edition as well in Qatar.
