Inter Milan owner Suning face having to sell up the club this year.
La Repubblica says a new directive from the Chinese government demands Suning give up control of Inter regarding investment abroad.
The new directive prohibits “non-strategic" investment by Chinese companies in foreign businesses and will affect Suning.
As such, they will have to give up control of Inter.
Inter attracted investment interest during the past season.
