Chelsea reject Inter Milan's opening bid for Romelu Lukaku
Chelsea have swiftly rejected Inter Milan's opening bid for Romelu Lukaku, as per Fabrizio Romano, a tier-one source.
The Serie A giants offered the Blues €5 million to take the striker on loan without an option to buy until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Talks between the two clubs are expected to continue in the next few days with Inter now waiting for Chelsea to put a price tag on the 29-year-old striker.
Lukaku is pushing to return to Italy this summer, having reportedly informed Thomas Tuchel and new Stamford Bridger owner Todd Boehly that he wanted to join Inter only.
