'Being an athlete is not easy': Neymar Jr shares downside of playing professional football

Neymar Jr recently tweeted: "Lost... you can't celebrate your grandma's, son's, wife's birthday and especially yours.

"Being an athlete is not easy. 'You can only be happy after your career ends, how crazy'."

The PSG superstar's future is uncertain even though he has a contract that runs till 2025.

However, the Brazilian is known for his extravagant lifestyle off the field filled with parties and whatnot.

The 30-year-old scored 13 goals and provided six assists in Ligue 1 last season.
