Marco Asensio's contract at Real Madrid expires in 2023 and is not excluded that he will want to complete it, Goal's Jorge Picon reports.
However, the club intends to sell the winger if they cannot reach an agreement over an extension. They plan to make money on him, not to lose Asensio for free.
At the moment, there is no definitive decision. The parties are scheduled to meet in the near future.
Previously, Marco said that he wanted continuity, and he didn't have it at Real Madrid this season.
In the 2021/22 term, Asensio played 42 matches (23 starts) and contributed with 12 goals and two assists.
