€450m transfer budget: Analyzing Madrid transfer Target this summer

According to Goal Espana, Real Madrid will have a €450m transfer budget this summer. However, they do not intend to spend money just for the sake of it and will preserve some of the funds for later transfer windows.

Here are our ideas of how the money could be spent.

Aurelian Tchouameni: €95m

The French midfielder is said to be the club's main target for this summer. However, Monaco have slapped quite a big price tag on him.

Serge Gnabry: €50m

It looks like the winger has decided not to extend his contract at Bayern Munich. With a deal expiring in 2023, Madrid should be able to sign Gnabry this summer if they put their mind to it.

Fran Garcia: €5m

The Whites have a buyback clause on the left-back, so they would not be overspending in this case. With Marcelo set to leave, the former academy player could take his place in the squad.

Taking into consideration Antonio Rudiger, whose signing has already been announced, this would be a solid transfer window for Real Madrid that would add up to just €150m.

The rest could be spent next summer, with the likes of Luka Modric and Karim Benzema likely to need replacements.
