11 Premier League players who reportedly earn more than LFC offer to Salah
Mohamed Salah is still locked in talks with Liverpool as he wants his new contract to reflect his status as one of the best players in the world.
According to The Athletic, Liverpool offer Salah a 15% increase on his current salary, £200,000 per week.
While it would make the Egyptian the highest-paid player in the club, the resulting £230,000-per-week is still much less than some other Premier League stars earn.
Here's a list of 12 players who reportedly earn more than what Salah is offered.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Man United - £480,000-a-week
Kevin De Bruyne, Man City - £400,000-a-week
Erling Haaland, Man City - £375,000-a-week (from next season)
David de Gea, Man United - £375,000-a-week
Jadon Sancho, Man United - £350,000-a-week
Raphael Varane, Man United - £340,000-a-week
Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea - £325,000-a-week
Jack Grealish, Man City - £300,000-a-week
Raheem Sterling, Man City - £300,000-a-week
N'Golo Kante, Chelsea - £290,000-a-week
Timo Werner, Chelsea - £272,000-a-week
John Stones, Man City - £250,000-a-week
Anthony Martial, Man United - £250,000-a-week
On one hand, you can understand Liverpool's desire to keep their wage structure. On the other, you can't say Salah does not have a point.
