'Take more risks': Ancelotti shares Madrid's gameplan for City game
"We’re not going to set up in a low block for the whole game," Carlo Ancelotti said at a press conference ahead of the City game, as quoted by Managing Madrid. "If we did, City would take 99 shots.
"We’ll need to take a few more risks, but we’ll need to use a low block at some points I’m sure and we’ll have to be better than in the first leg.
"The press has to be good too to stop their passes through the lines and to cut out their transition opportunities.
"We need a complete performance."
City won the first game 4-3. Madrid need to win by a two-goal margin to advance to the final. A win by one goal would lead to extra time and penalties.
The winner of the tie will face Liverpool in the final.
