Ronaldo 'could make' sensational Real Madrid return amid uncertainty at United
Real Madrid are growing increasingly keen on re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer from Man United after watching his heroics this season, as per the Mirror.
Cristiano’s performances for the Red Devils this season, which has seen him score 22 goals in all competitions, have convinced influential figures at Real to bring him back.
The La Liga side are assured he’d add a lot of goals to their team and are ready to give him regular playing time alongside Karim Benzema next season.
Despite Madrid’s desires, it’s yet to be certain whether Erik ten Hag sees Cristiano as a pivotal part of his side next season.
Ten Hag reportedly wants to sign a younger striker in the summer transfer window, which could mean fewer minutes for Ronaldo next season.
Cristiano is currently contracted to the Red Devils until 2023, but if he really pushes for a move, the club probably won’t have a choice but to sell him in the summer.
