Ralf Rangnick Leaves Manchester United
Ralf Rangnick will not be staying on at Manchester United in a consultancy role. An official announcement clarified that this verdict was due to the “demands” of his new role with Austria.
The news was confirmed via their official Twitter account.
“We would like to thank Ralf Rangnick for his efforts as interim manager over the past six months,” read the official statement.
“By mutual agreement, Ralf will now focus solely on his new role as manager of the Austria national team and will not, therefore, be taking up a consultancy role at Old Trafford.
“We would like to wish Ralf the best of luck in this next chapter of his career.”
The German boss took an average of 1.54 points per game from 24 Premier League matches, winning 10, drawing seven and losing seven.
He will now take charge of Austria for their upcoming Nations League fixtures, as they are due to face Croatia, Denmark and France.
