Paul Pogba's Agent In Turin Over A Potential Transfer To Juventus
Paul Pogba's agent is in Turin to meet with Juventus in hopes of discussing a potential free transfer for his client, according to tier-one journalist Fabrizio Romano.
There is a stumbling block, however, that could prevent Pogba from returning to Juventus.
At Manchester United, Pogba is one of the highest earners and pockets £290,000-per-week.
Romano understands that his salary remains a major issue with Juventus, as the Italian giants are not likely to match his current number or even offer higher wages.
This means Pogba would have to accept a huge pay cut to return to Juventus. The 29-year-old is reportedly keeping his options open, with Paris Saint-Germain also in talks with his representatives.
Romano further adds that Pogba is 'not tempted' to join Manchester City, despite their interest in the midfielder.
The Frenchman has spent a good chunk of 2021/22 injured, appearing 26 times across competitions for the Red Devils. He's scored one goal and assisted nine times in the Premier League this term.
