Mark Robinson Named New Chelsea Development Squad Head Coach
Chelsea have announced Mark Robinson as the new development squad head coach.
He was head of the academy at AFC Wimbledon for a large part of his career before managing the senior team for 14 months. He has been a childhood Chelsea fan and will now play a major role in the development of young players at the club.
Neil Bath, the head of youth development at Chelsea said: "We’re delighted to welcome Mark to the club. He has vast experience across youth development and the senior game, which will enable the Academy to continue to develop players for the professional game.
"We are confident that Mark will fit into our way of working and that he will add great value to the development of our players both individually and as a team. We look forward to Mark starting work in pre-season."
