Man United 'Will Not Blow Their Budget' Over €80m De Jong Move
Man United have informed Barcelona that they do not intend to blow their summer transfer budget on Frenkie de Jong, as per the Daily Mail.
Barca reportedly wants €80m to let go of the Dutchman in the summer, but the Red Devils are not ready to pay that big an amount.
A compromise between the two clubs to get a deal done remains way off, confirms the report.
Xavi considers De Jong as an important part of his squad but could be forced to sell him to gain some necessary funds that would be added to Barca’s summer budget.
The reliable Gerard Romero had insisted recently that there is a 95% that Frenkie is sold to United, but no other major development has taken place ever since.
