Liverpool set for 'record-breaking' income after reaching Champions League final
Liverpool are on course to generate a record-breaking income as a result of the 2021/22 campaign, according to football finance journalist Mo Chatra.
The Reds' income for the current campaign is estimated at £580million.
The Champions League money amounts to £98million - other sources value Liverpool's prize money at over £100m.
The club also receives £232m in commercial revenue, £154m as the Premier League prize money and £96m as matchday income.
The latter figure is set to increase significantly after the Anfield Road Stand expansion ends to increase the capacity of the stadium to 61,000.
The broadcast and commercial revenue are also likely to increase in the coming years which might increase Liverpool's turnover to around £650m.
