Liverpool Ready To Pay Gavi's Release Clause

Liverpool would be willing to pay Gavi's release clause of €50m to sign him this summer, Diario Sport's Jordi Gil claims.

The Reds view it as a good market opportunity. They think it is a fair price to pay for someone with his potential.

Gavi's contract at Barcelona expires in 2023. For some reason, the Catalans are taking their time with the extension process.

However, Mundo Deportivo's reliable Fernando Polo claims that Gavi doesn't plan on leaving Camp Nou this summer. The 17-year-old's priority is to extend his contract at Barca.

In the 2021/22 season, Gavi played 46 games for Barca, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
