Everton came back from 2–0 down to beat Crystal Palace 3–2 in the Premier League at Goodison Park on Thursday night.
The result means that the Toffees have a four-point lead over 18th-placed Leeds and will not be relegated to the Championship regardless of the last game's result.
Following Dominic Calvert-Lewin's goal in the 85th minute of the game, Everton fans threw flares and invaded the pitch to celebrate with the players.
It took the Goodison Park staff a while to clear everyone out and allow the game to continue.
This means that we're not saying goodbye to the Merseyside derby just yet. Maybe it's for the best - especially if Frank Lampard's record against Jurgen Klopp continues. The ex-England international lost all four Premier League games against Klopp as a manager.
