Cyril Chibwe joins Zambia Camp ahead of the trip to Ghana
South Africa based goalkeeper Cyril Mwenya Chibwe has arrived in Lusaka ahead of the CAF 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The goalkeeper arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at this afternoon and was whisked away by FAZ support staff to the team’s base in Lusaka.
Chibwe becomes the third foreign-based player to join the team.
Scottish based defender Frankie Chisenga Musonda arrived around lunchtime.
Israel based winger Lameck Banda joined the team yesterday.
The likes of Fashion Sakala, Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu are expected to arrive by the end of the day.
The South African based led goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata is also expected to join camp later today.
Zambia is expected to leave for Ghana by the end of the week where they will set base.
On Matchday 1, Zambia will be a way to Ivory Coast on June 3, before hosting Comoros at National Heroes Stadium
