Camavinga Proud Of 'incredible' First Real Madrid Season

Eduardo Camavinga is proud to have finished his first season with Real Madrid a LaLiga and Champions League title winner.

The Frenchman, who has just completed his first season with Real Madrid, spoke after the historic win over Liverpool and analysed the campaign from a personal and collective perspective.

"It's been an incredible season, an extraordinary accomplishment, very positive," he said after the 1-0 win against Liverpool.

"I've learned a lot in this first year from the players here, from my cards too, so I think I'm a better player than I was a year ago.

"The first thing to remember is this victory, the work of the team an,d after that, whether I've played more or less is important."

Camavinga admitted that it wasn't easy against the Reds but feels his side deserved the trophy.

"The game was indeed very close and we struggled, but I think we deserved it," he said.

The youngster stated where he feels his best position on the pitch is but was not about to argue with Carlo Ancelotti about it.

"I prefer to play as a [No.] 6, in front of the defence, but I [also] like to play as a [No.] 8, and wherever the coach puts me I'll give my best."
