Barcelona President Laporta Reveals Kylian Mbappe’s Huge Salary Demand

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed the salary demands made by Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe. 

The Frenchman is set to become a free agent this summer but Real Madrid are leading the race to land the Paris Saint Germain forward.

 Mbappe’s future has been shrouded in a lot of expectations with the World Cup-winning star yet to make a decision on his future. PSG are still hopeful that they can convince him to extend his contract. 

Barcelona showed interest interest in Mbappe in the past, but a move was never really on the cards given the club’s financial situation and salary margins. 

According to Laporta, Mbappe wanted a massive salary of €50 million, which would have been impossible for Barcelona to afford in any manner. 

Mbappe was asking for €40m or €50m net per season. Not gross, net" Joan Laporta has told CatRadio, as per Gerard Romero, quoted by Marca.
