Tuchel confirms Lukaku absence and more injury updates ahead of Real Madrid clash
Thomas Tuchel confirmed that Romelu Lukaku will not be travelling to Madrid for Chelsea's 2nd leg clash against Real on Tuesday night.
The Belgian forward is out with an issue with his Achilles tendon and missed the 6-0 win against Southampton too. He will not be fit in time to face Real Madrid either.
In other squad news, Tuchel said: "Callum Hudson-Odoi out, Ben Chilwell out, Romelu Lukaku will not travel, Azpilicueta has tested negative and is in the group. Ross Barkley is sick."
Ben Chilwelll is nursing an ACL injury and will be out for the rest of the season. The return of Azpilicueta will be a welcome one for the team as they would need his experience in the crucial game at the Bernanbeu.
