Sir Alex finally shares his thoughts on Man United appointing Ten Hag as new manager
When asked about what he thinks of Man United appointing Erik ten Hag as their new manager, Sir Alex Ferguson told RTE Racing: “Well, I hope he does well because the club needs someone to get in control.
“I hope he does well.”
Sir Alex was reportedly not that involved in the appointment of Ten Hag and personally wanted Mauricio Pochettino to take over as the new manager.
However, the ex-United gaffer seems to be in support of the Dutchman ahead of a huge job. Ten Hag will take over as United boss after this season is over and look to help the Red Devils fight for major titles from next season onwards.
