Roy Keane: 'It's not the Man United I played for. There's no soul to them

Speaking on Sky Sports on Tuesday, Roy Keane said: "There's no hiding place at this level. There was anger earlier in the season, now it's just sadness.

"It's so sad watching this team. It's not the club I played for. It's a really, really sad night. What Manchester United has always had was brilliant characters.

"This Man United team isn't even likeable. There's no soul to them — even when they're doing interviews it's robotic. It's so sad to see."

Man United suffered a 4–0 defeat away at Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday, their second Premier League defeat against Jurgen Klopp's men this season(also 5–0 at Old Trafford in October).

Both Ralf Rangnick and Bruno Fernandes admitted after the game that the Red Devils were not good enough against their bitter rivals with Man United's top four aspirations now all but finished.
