Premier League deny Liverpool's request to shift Newcastle fixture timing

The Premier League have rejected Liverpool's request to move their game against Newcastle.

The kick-off is scheduled for 12:30 AM on 30th April which is a. Saturday. Liverpool's request was to push back the game from 12:30 to 7:45 PM on the same day.

It was intended keeping in mind to allow the Reds a little bit of recovery time from their semi-final match against Villareal which is a late kick-off on Wednesday.

This leaves Jurgen Klopp's men dealing with a short amount of recovery period. He's used his squad depth to good effect during this season and he'll have to rely on rotation once again to deal with this fixture congestion.
