Paul Scholes and Peter Schmeichel inducted to Premier League Hall of Fame

Man United legends Paul Scholes and Peter Schmeichel are the two latest inductees into the 2022 Premier League Hall of Fame.

The two join Wayne Rooney, who became the first former United player to be nominated into this year’s Hall of Fame.

Former Man City players Vincent Kompany and Sergio Aguero are also some of the latest inductees in the prestigious category.

Scholes and Schmeichel both enjoyed prolific careers are Old Trafford and were part of the 1998/99 Treble winning side as well.

The English midfielder won 11 Premier League titles with United, while the Danish goalkeeper won 5 league titles.
