Liverpool set to offer new 4-year contract to Jurgen Klopp
Liverpool are set to start negotiations with Jurgen Klopp over a new contract, according to reliable journalist Paul Joyce, and other major sources as well.
The negotiations are for a new 4-year deal with the German boss as his current contract is set to expire in 2024.
Jurgen had said on numerous occasions that he would leave the club after his contract expires but apparently his position has softened over the past few months.
Last night Mike Gordon, the president of Fenway Sports Group was at Liverpool's game against Villarreal on Wednesday and he will be looking to accelerate contract negotiations with Klopp's agent, Marc Kosicke over the next few days.
Liverpool are vying for an unprecedented quadruple this season and took one step closer to the Champions League final with a 2-0 win over Villarreal in the first leg of the semi-finals.
