Koeman in talks to replace Van Gaal at Netherlands national team after cancer diagnosis
Former Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman is the leading candidate to replace Louis Van Gaal in charge of the Netherlands national team, De Telegraaf report.
Van Gaal revealed on Sunday that he has prostate cancer. He still wants to manage the Dutch team at the World Cup in Qatar though.
In case the 70-year-old needs to be replaced, the Dutch FA have started negotiations with Koeman.
The ex-Barca boss has been without work since October 28 when he was sacked by Joan Laporta.
