Klopp open to contract extension, Liverpool want to tie him down till 2026: Multiple sources
Liverpool look set to start negotiations with Jurgen Klopp over a new contract, according to Paul Joyce who is very reliable, and other major sources as well.
The negotiations are reported to be for a new 4-year deal with the German boss as his current contract is set to expire in 2024.
Jurgen had said on numerous occasions, that he would leave the club after his contract expires but apparently his position has softened over the past few months.
Last night, Mike Gordon, the president of Fenway Sports Group was at Liverpool's game against Villarreal and he will be looking to accelerate contract negotiations with Klopp's agent, Marc Kosicke over the next few days.
The Reds are in a great position to make another final appearance in the Champions league as they hunt the unprecedented quadruple after last night's win and will want to double the joy by keeping Klopp on till 2026.
