Antonio Rudiger has reached an agreement to join Real Madrid as a free agent next season, Fabrizio Romano has tweeted.
The four-year deal will be signed in a few days but won't be officially confirmed before the end of the current campaign.
Rudiger has decided to leave Chelsea to end the uncertainty about his future. The sides were close to an agreement before sanctions were placed on Roman Abramovich and prevented them from further talks.
The 29-year-old joined Chelsea back in 2017 and won five trophies with the Blues, including the Champions League last season.
