Erik ten Hag 'close' to deciding on Man United offer - The Athletic
Erik ten Hag has not yet made a decision whether to accept Man United's offer to become their next manager but is close to doing so, The Athletic's David Ornstein reports.
The journalist confirms that the 52-year-old Dutchman is United's preferred candidate ahead of Mauricio Pochettino.
It's also known that Ten Hag asked for some serious assurances that his role, responsibilities and authority would be stated clearly in the terms.
He still is considering other options, including signing a new deal with Ajax. However, the Premier League remains his most likely destination.
Even if he accepts Man United's offer, nothing will be announced at least before April 17 when Ajax take on PSV in the KNVB Cup final.
