Chelsea's Sam Kerr named Football Writers' Association Women's player of the year
Chelsea FC Women's star Sam Kerr has been declared the Football Writers' Association Women's player of the year.
She has accumulated a total of 18 goals and 4 assists in 18 games in the WSL. She also picked up the Golden Boot last year.
The Australian is in fine form and is a favourite for the player of the month award for her 5 goals in the last 5 games.
If that wasn't enough, Kerr has also broken a club record by scoring in 7 consecutive games, netting 10 times.
Kerr and the Chelsea Women will be in action again one last time this season as they take on Manchester United next Sunday.
