Benfica striker Darwin Nunez is set to be one of the hottest commodities on the summer transfer market after scoring 31 goals in 36 games this season.
Plenty of top clubs have made enquiries about the 22-year-old. However, as per The Athletic, the three main contenders for the Uruguayan are Man United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
There are circumstances that could complicate the pursuit for each of those clubs. United are yet to appoint a new manager, Chelsea are in a middle of a messy takeover, and PSG are still trying to negotiate a new deal with Kylian Mbappe.
In any case, Benfica will be ready to talk as they expect to get €70 million for Nunez.
Chelsea's striker situation continues to be somewhat complicated. Lukaku has not lived up to expectation since his big money move from Inter last summer.
Werner has also been unconvincing and only Havertz has been the more consistent forward for the Blues, even though he's used in different positions across the front three more often than not.
Once Chelsea's new owners takeover and the club is able to acquire players again, would you like to see the Darwin Nunez at Stamford Bridge?
