Barca pick 7 untouchable players as Laporta plans squad revolution
Joan Laporta wants to carry out a squad revamp at Barcelona the same way he did back in 2003 when 14 players left Barcelona and 11 new ones came, Diario Sport (4 stars) report.
The Catalans would be able to sell almost everyone but seven players: Eric Garcia, Ronald Araujo, Pedri, Gavi, Nico, Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati.
Curiously, the list doesn't include players like Frenkie de Jong and Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Both of them have been key players and are still relatively young.
In order to reshuffle the squad, Barca will also need to raise money through transfers. They have also identified the seven players that they will actively try to sell in the summer.
