Xavi: 'When Ferran came on, you saw how much he gives us'

"Ferran Torres started as a substitute because of rotations, to give him rest. But when he came on, you can see how much he gives us," Xavi said after the Elche game.

"Ferran gives us a lot, he works, generates attacks and in the end his reward is the goal.

"The important thing is that Ferran scored, he is important both in terms of morale and confidence to come back in a match like this. The team was in very good shape physically."

Ferran came as a sub right after the break against Elche. He went on to score the equalizer for Barcelona, although he also missed a couple of golden opportunities as well.

With him in, the Catalans did look better and more fluid in attack.
