Tebas: 'I would be very happy if Haaland joins Real Madrid'

"CVC is not the only solution for Barcelona to sign Erling Haaland. It is one step, but more steps are needed," La Liga president Javier Tebas has told COPE.

"I would be very happy if Haaland joins Real Madrid. Kylian Mbappe and Haaland at Madrid will be very important," he added

Barca and Real Madrid, together with Manchester City, are named as the potential destinations for Haaland. And when it's an open race, it's strange to see the league president be this openly in favour of one club.

As per latest reports, the Catalans have informed Erling that they are ready to trigger his release clause. However, they can't offer him as much money as the other competitors.
