Hugo Sánchez is not just one of Real Madrid's top highest goal scorers of all time, he is also one of Mexico's greatest footballers of all time. Having played for Athletico Madrid for four (4) years, he switched to Real Madrid due to his stellar form.

The move paid off as the Mexican went on to capture 3 Supercopa de España, 1 UEFA Cup, 5 consecutive La Liga trophies, and 1 Copa del Rey. During the 5 consecutive league winning campaign, Hugo also won the Pichichi award for those five seasons.
