PSG owners want to keep Kylian Mbappe 'at all costs', failure could spark internal turmoil
According to French media outlet L'Equipe, PSG owners want to extend Kylian Mbappe's contract 'at all costs' even after the French side was eliminated from the Champions League.
The instructions come from Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani himself.
As such, the failure to keep the most prized assets at the club could be the cause of an internal turmoil and have a wide-ranging impact on the club management.
No wonder PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was so irate after his side was knocked out from the Champions League by Real Madrid, of all teams.
It is the La Liga leaders who are currently the likeliest club to have Mbappe in their team next season. The 23-year-old was one of the few PSG players who emerged with some credit from the two-legged tie as he scored both of his side's goals.
