Premier League 'block' Burnley from signing Victor Moses from Spartak Moscow
As per the Daily Mail, the Premier League has 'blocked' Burnley's attempt to bring Victor Moses back to England.
The league officials have reportedly done so to preserve 'the sporting integrity' of the competition.
Moses, who has played for Chelsea in the past, is believed to be keen to leave Russian club Spartak Moscow following Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
However, it appears dealing with Russian clubs even for transfers is off the table for the English top-flight.
The Daily Mail claims that an agreement was in place for Moses to leave Spartak and join Burnley but the league bosses will not have it.
Russia is still destroying Ukrainian cities and killing civilians including kids with all the weapons imaginable. We strongly condemn Putin’s genocide and acts of terror against Ukraine.
