Pedri reacts to Messi comparisons after Galatasaray golazo

"Was my goal in the style of Leo Messi? Leo has scored much better goals. Comparing myself to him is crazy," Pedri told reporters after the Galatasaray win.

"I don't remember the play of the goal. I have to see it in the replay. On the pitch, things go by themselves."

The comparisons to Messi, at least in the episode with the goal, are more than deserved. Pedri had two players drop to the ground with a fake shot after which he calmly sent the ball past the goalkeeper.

This term so far, Pedri has scored three goals and provided one assist in 16 games for Barcelona. He needs one more goal to beat his record from last season.
