Neymar offered to Barca, club not too eager to bring him back

Neymar has been offered to Barcelona by his entourage in recent months, Foot Mercato's Santi Aouna reports.

Paris Saint-Germain are open to his departure.

However, the Catalans do not consider bringing Neymar back at the moment. The two main problems are the 30-year-old's salary of €30m and the fact that Barca have other priorities.

Barca were close to signing Neymar in 2019, and the player was ready to pay a part of his own transfer fee. However, the move did not go through in the end.

Meanwhile, it's understood that Joan Laporta wants to make a statement signing next summer. Erling Haaland was the main goal but the Norwegian seems to be giving preference to other destinations.
