Klopp confirms triple injury boost ahead of Inter clash

Liverpool face Inter Milan in the return leg of the Champions League Round of 16 clash on Tuesday.

And the Reds welcome Thiago, Roberto Firmino and Joel Matip back to the squad.

"They all trained on Sunday," Jurgen Klopp said at a pre-match press conference, as quoted by the Athletic.

"What we make of that I don’t know yet exactly. We will see how they react.

"Thiago was only a week out and will probably be fine. Joel was only three or four days and is fine. Bobby was longer out so we’ll see if it makes more sense to give him a few more days with proper training.

"Today is only a tactical session, no high intensity. He might need something else."

Thiago picked up an injury in the warm-up before the League Cup final. Matip missed the West Ham game through illness. Firmino suffered a muscle injury in mid-February and has been unavailable since then.
