Jurgen Klopp provides update on Salah's contract negotiations

Quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said in a recent press conference: "Mo Salah contract saga's not creating any problem.

"Mo's not like that. He's completely committed this season, then we'll talk about the rest - future, immediate, further."

Klopp added: "The decisive parties are in contact and the rest we will see."

The Egyptian star's current deal expires in the summer of 2023 and it's been reported that negotiations aren't progressing as smoothly as one might have hoped.

Salah continues to be an asset for the Merseysiders, having scored 28 goals across competitions this term.

The 29-year-old's agent has, however, indicated that Liverpool aren't meeting Salah's demands to renew his stay.
