Eden Hazard linked with sensational summer move to Arsenal
Arsenal have 'initiated the first contact' with Real Madrid over the potential move for Eden Hazard, according to Foot Mercato.
Emirates manager Mikel Arteta is said to be keen to add the Belgian's experience to the Gunners' attack ahead of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign.
The 31-year-old reportedly has no future in Spain after enduring yet another disastrous season for Madrid, scoring just one goal and providing two assists across 22 games.
Hazard, who left Chelsea for the La Liga giants in 2019 for €115 million, was also linked with a return to Stamford Bridge although that appears unlikely given the uncertainty surrounding the London club.
