Christensen 'will be Barcelona player this week'

Catalonia-based outlet Diario Sport reports that Andreas Christensen will sign a six-year contract with Barcelona.

The Denmark international will have the second part of his medical later today. His agents will then travel to Spain to complete the deal later this week.

He would earn around €6m per season in wages at Camp Nou, it is reported.

Sport report that Christiansen 'will be a Barcelona player this week'. He will obviously finish the season with Chelsea and then join the Catalans on free transfer in the summer, having failed to agree a contract extension with the Blues.

Reliable Fabrizio Romano reports that 'nothing is signed' between Christensen and Barca but the parties have a verbal agreement.
