Chelsea fans are still pretty unhappy with the fact that the Ricketts family are very much in the race to buy the club despite the history of racist and homophobic claims from the members of the family.

Well, some of those fans are now trying to organise the #NoToRicketts protest outside Stamford Bridge hours before the Blues' Premier League clash with Brentford.

Most importantly, they don't focus on the off-the-pitch issues, as the Ricketts' ownership of the Chicago Cubs also draws a lot of questions (the pic below is clickable).

No wonder the sentiment is pretty strong among the fanbase on social media.

Alex Goldberg, Twitter: "Look at this below and tell me with a straight face they’re suitable to be Chelsea’s owners."

ShaneLowrysBeard, Reddit: "I’ll be there. Can’t help but feel it’s risky to only focus on the racism and homophobia when they are objectively just terrible owners but it’s a great start."

CFCDaily, Twitter: "How many red flags for a supposed 'successful' sporting team. Don’t read what the ones who cover it up say. It’s all easily accessible."

TheNarrator23, Reddit: "We have black players, Muslim players and LGBTQ+ players at the club. How can you expect them to feel good at the club when the potential new owners hate you based on who you are?"

MAH, Twitter: "The sporting reasons as to why the #NoToRicketts protest is taking place before the Brentford (H) match. Don’t wait until it’s too late to have your say, don’t leave anything to chance."
