Borussia Dortmund 'eyeing move' for Chelsea's Timo Werner

Borussia Dortmund are 'eyeing a summer move' for Chelsea forward Timo Werner, according to Sky Germany.

The 25-year-old, who moved to Stamford Bridge in 2020 for £47.5 million, has scored just seven Premier League goals for the Blues.

The German international is open to sealing a return to the Bundesliga although his salary, believed to be about of £270,000-a-week, could be an issue for Dortmund.

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich officially put Chelsea up for sale earlier this week and it remains to be seen how the shocking development will affect the club's transfer activity.
