Benfica offer refuge to young Academy players in Ukraine as war intensifies
Portuguese giants Benfica have offered refuge to the young players part of their Academies in war-torn Ukraine, an official statement has confirmed.
As the fighting with Russian forces spans over two weeks, several Ukrainian cities have been hit with food and electricity shortage.

Thousands of civilians have been killed as well but humanitarian aid has been pouring in from all corners of the world.
Four children have already received shelter from Benfica while many more are expected to join in the days ahead.
