Anthony Martial to return to Man United after Sevilla loan ends

Anthony Martial is not expected to sign permanently for Sevilla and will return to Manchester United once his loan ends, reports tier-one journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Sevilla's loan term does not include the option to buy him permanently and neither have they shown any inclination to do so.

Fans of the Spanish side are not particularly impressed with Martial's impact, with the Frenchman only scoring and assisting once in eight games across competitions.

Romano notes that Sevilla are also not interested in keeping Martial on loan for another season. However, they will make their final decision in May.

It remains to be seen if Martial is part of the new manager's plans at Old Trafford, considering he has a contract till 2025.
